Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who is this program for?
This program is designed for creatives, yoga instructors, movement therapists, dancers, holistic practitioners, and anyone interested in deepening their understanding of somatic movement and chakra alignment. Whether you want to enhance your teaching skills, explore personal healing, or integrate a more holistic approach into your practice, this training offers valuable tools and insights.
2. What are the prerequisites?
There are no specific prerequisites for Part 1: The Artistry of the Chakras. However, a basic understanding of yoga or energy work can be helpful. Part 2: Somatic Movement & Teaching Methodology requires the completion of Part 1 as it builds on the foundational knowledge and practices covered in the online course.
3. Can I take Part 1 without committing to Part 2?
Yes, you can enroll in Part 1: The Artistry of the Chakras as a standalone course. It offers a comprehensive exploration of the chakra system and somatic practices that can enhance your personal growth and teaching. If you later decide to continue with Part 2, you’ll have the foundational knowledge needed to succeed.
4. Can I take Part 2 without having completed Part 1?
Taking Part 2 without first completing Part 1 is like jumping into a 300-hour yoga teacher training without having done the foundational 200-hour course. Part 1 lays the essential groundwork, providing the knowledge and skills needed to fully benefit from and integrate the more advanced practices in Part 2. For the best experience and to ensure you’re fully prepared, we recommend completing Part 1 before moving on to Part 2.
5. What is the Yoga Alliance accreditation?
Our program is accredited by the Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program (YACEP). This means that upon completing the full 100-hour training, you will earn continuing education credits recognized by Yoga Alliance. This accreditation ensures that our program meets high standards of quality and professionalism, helping you advance your teaching credentials.
6. How do I apply for the Early Bird Discount?
To take advantage of the Early Bird Discount, simply enroll in either Part 2 or the full 100-hour program by the specified deadline. The discount will be automatically applied at checkout. Be sure to check our website for the exact deadline and any additional promotional details.
7. What if I can’t attend the in-person training?
We understand that schedules and circumstances can vary. If you’re unable to attend the in-person training, we offer a hybrid format that includes virtual participation options. This allows you to complete the in-person modules remotely, ensuring you can still benefit from the full program experience.
8. Will I be certified after completing the program?
Yes, upon successful completion of the full 100-hour program (both Part 1 and Part 2), you will receive a certification in Chakra Somatics by Nikki Baksh®, which is also recognized as continuing education with Yoga Alliance. This certification demonstrates your expertise in somatic movement and chakra alignment, qualifying you to incorporate these practices into your teaching.
9. How is this training different from other yoga teacher trainings?
This program uniquely combines somatic movement, chakra work, and creative expression, offering a holistic approach to yoga and personal development. Nikki Baksh’s background as a multidisciplinary artist and certified yoga teacher brings a unique blend of creativity and depth to the training, making it a transformative experience that goes beyond traditional yoga teacher training.
10. What materials will I need for the training?
For Part 1, you’ll need a reliable internet connection, a yoga mat, and basic art supplies like paper, paints, or markers for creative exercises. For Part 2, you’ll need comfortable clothing for movement, a yoga mat, and a journal for reflections and notes. Any additional materials will be provided or detailed in advance.
